front suspension help needed

Hi chaps wanting to change my springs on my e85 2004 z4 front spring snapped thought I might tackle this myself on doing first bolt on stay bar or link bar not to sure what correct term the bolt has got a domed head on one side so nothing to grab hold on so couldn't get bolt out as I'm not very confident on doing this job not having right tools is there any one willing to give me a hand and help me change them I live in west Bromwich west midlands would be very grateful to anyone who can help with this problem thanks mac.

Push the rubber slightly and There is a 16/17mm nut head so you can stop the ballpoint from spinning

Just realised rubber cover on nut what a plonker shows how much I know about cars step by step guide very good thanks raymond will persevere

You say you dont have the right tools?! do you have a spring compressor? if not your screwed.
