Front Strut Offset

I have put coilovers on front and rear but the front left strut is about 5mm closer to the wheel than the right. I have put 20mm spacers on anyway so there are no clearance issues, I'm just concerned I put it back together incorrectly.

Has anyone seen this before?

Are the top mounts central or offset? A photo from the top would help clarify.

If one strut is closer to the wheel than the other then you probably have different camber left/right which is undesirable.
