Front springs Z4 E85 2.2 2005

Hi All

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting in my front room when I heard this very loud snapping banging sound. Both front springs on my E85 had snapped at the same time stationary !

I order some new springs from AutoDoc for my 2005 E85 but they do not fit. The lower spring seat on my front shocks is an oval/pear shape but the springs they sent are round at both ends.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of some front springs with an oval/pear shape at one end and round at the other.

Sachs and Bilstein B4 are standard replacements that are the correct shape. However, Kilen and Lesfojors are acceptable to use even though they are round at the bottom. Once fitted and compressed they are fine.
Cannot comment on any other makes as I have no experience of them.
