Oh, the witty sarcasm aimed at me is too much to handle!
35 in a 30 zone is more dangerous than any of us (myself included) appreciate when thinking about stopping distances, but that needn't concern you, just make sure that if you run someone over, that you reverse away so they don't see your rear plate, that way you can't be caught.
And why not calm the nerves with a drink whilst driving away, I mean, you can probably have several pints and still be ok, and what is the law to contradict your opinion?
Aren't you being a tad hysterical? He's talking about leaving a number plate off and risking a piddly fine, not slaughtering kids on the pavement outside a primary school after drinking a bottle of whisky.

And I'm sick of sports car drivers telling me they never break the law. Its bollocks and they know it.
You obviously didnt get my point. I am always in a hissy fit. I thought we'd turned this thread round to being more productive - my comments are my opinion, and the OPs comments are his. That is fair enough, and I was just raising the issue of it being illegal to do what he suggests, all for the sake of looks. You are correct, removing the plates is nothing like drink driving or running people over, perhaps my attempt at witty sarcasm didn't work.
I then moved it onto a discussion of what are the consequences of removing the plates and then onto why are they needed in the first place.
I'm not intending to keep an argument going, I thought the thread was back on track to something more productive, as I said earlier, I am interested.
