Front number plate

Just ordered some new plates for the car has anyone removed that awful slab on the bumper and put their plates straight on,it would be interesting to see hoe much better it looks.
 
Yes definitely looks better did you use double sided tape or some kind of adhesive.
 
Previous owner removed it on mine. I've lowered the plate a bit since this pic, as I felt it sat too high. Needs a private plate ideally.

Wow, another job to do! Looks so clean without the slab :!: Presume that the slab is screwed to number and would require body shop work to get it clean?

Mine was riveted on! But I change to an aero bumper so didn't refit it!

I can go naked if required :lol:
