As long as they are reflective, have the name and postcode of where they were issued below the reg, and BS number in the right hand corner.

Just got back from MOT and I asked about stick on number plates and they said they are a NO NO.
Only legal on pre 1975.

All depends on where you are what sort of person sees the car. I was driving in North London and got pulled for not having the separation space in the number plate. Guess I was unlucky and the guy was on a power trip...
