Front Mudflaps Any Good?

are you talking about mudflaps or some kind of deflector in front of the wheels???

Mudflaps .... search mudflaps and mcbeee, i've had em on my E89 since 2009. a definite requirement if you want to keep paint on the rockers.
 
I have to agree with the general consensus I think they look dreadful, I would rather get the sills reprinted once every 2 years than fit those.

Reprinted would be alot better than repainted :roll:

Well I have to get them and soon
The mess down the side and the odd stone chip is not acceptable.
On a dark car they don't stand out but the price is hard to swallow when you know they probably only cost a few quid to make and you have to fit them to mask a design failure

They will certainly help and better than nothing, but I think any car will be the same if you regularly use country lanes etc. Although I think the Zed will be alot better than a hatchback for getting dirt up the rear end.

I really don't understand though why they're so expensive for the E89, from what I remember they were £120 a set but half that for my old 118d :cry:

As you say you will hardly notice them on darker colours and the benefits outweigh the so called disadvantages.

It does make me smile when people knock them so much on the E89, they obviously think they own a Sports car :rofl:
