Front knocking over slow bumps/pot holes but NOT droplinks?

Hi,

I have knocking when going slowly (<10mph) over pot holes/ bumps etc. Both sides, a knocking metallic noise.
My friend and I looked at the droplinks but they seem to be in good condition. We thought maybe the sensor is being knocked. Photos are below.

Also, the front has been modified - but modified to what? Does anyone know?

Any help will be much appreciated.

they are stance plus coilovers with the droplinks that come with them, check everything is tight i.e. the top mount to the strut and the bottom pinch bolt, also the rear s**t shields on the brakes are known for making a metallic knocking sound over bumps if they are loose

Ok thank you. I will investigate that at the weekend.

Anyone else with any other ideas?

What are the condition of the lollipops? The front control arms go into them . My first Zed made a knocking sound at low speed and it was this that was causing the issue.

Can you determine if it still does it whilst going around a bend? With some steering applied it loads up the antiroll bar and drop links - if the knocking stops then ARB drop links is defo your problem whether they look good or not.

Also check the the nuts that hold the tie bars in the engine bay, from strut to bulkhead. My car developed a clunky metallic noise and I nipped the nuts up, sorted it

Check the upper bearings are good on the strut tops. if they are loose or have some play may cause a clunk when unloading.
