Front jack point fabrication

Neat job!

I recently re-made mine, final dimensions were 50mm diameter by 30mm tall. M10 bolt picks up an *existing* threaded hole in the cross-member.

I find it very useful for getting the car high up in the air on truck stands, but less useful for simple wheel-off jobs.

Thanks for including dimensions, I'll knock one up too.

Fitted the jacking point. Made mine from 50mm diameter industrial nylon bar.

Works nicely. I found it best to drive the front wheels onto a couple of wooden chocks I made (out of a 4"x4" post). This raises the car enough to slide my jack in and out easily.

Thanks for the idea :)
