Is it not underneath the rear view mirror? Thats the bit that flashes red when the alarms set.

IIRC it's in the rear console area by the trans tunnel.

Think your right,that,s the area my inde; was looking for it.well the front console area (waiting for the main man to return from holidays to confirm)

According to the diagnostics,that sensor is causing the alarm to activate,every time the car is locked :evil:

According to WDS, it's between hand brake and rear cubby along with DSC module. So there is no visible emitter I normally associate with detectors? Then how does this thing work?

The bulb under the mirror is a reasonable assumption, but it is indeed just a blinking light.
