Front Headlight Washer Jet - Passenger Side E85

Hi all,

Does anyone have a passenger side from washer jet for sale? Either a spare or from a breaker?
Mine works fine, but doesn't go back down when it goes off.

For an E85/E86 Z4M. UK
 
Take it out, apart , clean it and then spray it with silicone lubricant.
You either have to take the bumper off or the wheel arch shield.
I would only take the bumper off on a warm day as the end clips might snap
 
My current Z4 had the same issue with the passenger side one not seating, but it also leaked enough to empty the washer reservoir in less than a day!

I got really lucky and found a used pair on here and Ross at RBM swapped it but had to remove the wheel-arch liner to get to it, but that's probably easier than risking those bumper clips!

After it was fixed I took out Fuse 40 so no more headlight washers, but no more streaks up the wings or missing headlight washer caps/jets. :D

Hopefully Rucky's suggestion will work, but be careful as the "D" clip on the top of the jet that secures the cap can be fragile and I don't think it can be bought separately.

Tbh if it's that easy to just disable them then I might do that! I hate them going off and just cause washer to get everywhere as you mention.

Saves messing around fixing the washer jet too and risking them clips!
