The day is finally here, my new Rieger front bumper has arrived for the Z, trial fitting has started as it’s supposed to go to the paint shop tomorrow, looks like it will be a late night as it looks like a bugger to fit :headbang:

Christmas came early? Glad it arrived.

Yep in the paint shop today and hopefully back for the weekend, Christmas done soon time for early birthday present to arrive in shiny black sapphire 8)

I too am admiring your lift setup. My garage can fit my car and not much else. Very frustrating!

Looking forward to seeing the finished pics

Bumper back from the spray shop, mesh fitted, fogs fitted, grills fitted just need to wait for the stickaflex to harden and can get it back on the car :driving:

Love the lines of this new bumper, think it is going to give the car a whole new look

Look sweet! Nice that it has all worked out. Was there much fettling to do? Also interesting that they have not included a space for the badge in the nominal location? Do they include a bonnet badge for you?

Thanks, yep not a simple bolt on job but not too bad. You need to drills all the side holes and bottom mounting holes and install threaded brackets. You get given a flat strip of mesh and you need to cut and form all of the mesh grilles then you need to fit them and the normal grilles and fit them with stickaflex mastic. Sadly no bonnet badge with the kit and as it is curved and not recessed you can’t fit one. I got a genuine bmw F10 badge which is a stick on and put on the bonnet as it did not feel right without a badge. Think it looks ok there.

I like that, looks really good! I wonder if they make one for the E89. With regards to the bonnet badge how about getting a high quality decal made up and sticking it on the bumper? bit like some of the more track focused Porsches do.

That’s a good shout might look and see if I can find one of those, I don’t think they do it for the E89 but the e89 sport one looks pretty aggressive anyway, the standard z4 one to me was a bit subdued

Yep I just checked on their website, nothing for the E89!

You will probably have to seek out some specialist shop to custom make the decal for you. I think it would work really well though so worth the trouble trying to do it.
