Front discs and pads

Just wondered if anyone had any experience on what are good discs and pads for the sport brakes on the g29. My car was in Bmw today for its mot (which it failed on a bloody wing mirror indicator thats not working) and service and they are telling me it needs new discs and pads at the front (it has done 71k miles). their price seems a bit to pricey for my liking though £899.99, mainly because changing the discs and pads is an easy job I could do myself. wondered what is a decent set of none Bmw discs and pads to buy, or is it worth waiting til the Black Friday sales and get 20% off the Bmw ones (they tell me its got 20% life left in them, so it must have quite a few 1000 miles left)
 
Discs & pads £3-400 choose which you want DIY, these days I get a local garage to fit, you would probably pay half BMW prices
 
I fitted a pair of these to my M40i, and found them to be great, didnt change the pads as they didnt need it at the time.... :driving: :driving:
