Hi all,

Doing my spring hub clean and paint today. What are the round 'plugs' arranged around the hub? I am guessing magnets for ABS etc?

Anyone know for sure?

Rivets two part hub.
Must be cheaper manufacture than solid, or slightly different properties.
No rust are the hubs aluminium, i would have thought dissimilar corrosion.
Reduce weight i suppose.

Way too few to be usable as ABS sensor. Teeth of normal ABS sensor rings are few millimetres. Or gaps in ABS ring since this is BMW forum

From Brembo's web site ..

Composite disc
The aluminium hat, which provides benefits in terms of weight and performance, is connected to the brake surface in special cast iron by steel pins.
