Front control arms and bushings - critical measurements ??

My friend is replacing his front control arms (2006 E85). He asked me how precise the position of the front contol arm bushing (FCAB) on the front control arm (FCA) needs to be. I have a Bentley E46 shop manual that gives measurements for placing the FCAB's on the FCA's for E46 rear wheel drive chassis, E46 xi chassis, and E46 M3. The specified position on the arm varies by about 10mm dependent upon model.

I did a cursory search on the forum and didn't see any threads addressing this, so I'm posting to ask how forum members have handled this task. In particular, has anyone looked this up on TIS, and if so, would you please share whether the E85/E86 measurements match the E46 shop manual ?

I have attached a copy of my Bentley E46 manual showing the two rear drive FCA / FCAB installation specs.
