Front bushes replacement on Z4M

So, further to my other thread, I guess I need to get the bushes changed to try and fix my creaking steering.

I have spoken to BMW, who have quoted £220 to fit new front bushes. Is this reasonable, or should I go elsewhere?

Fitted doesnt sound too bad to me IK. Was about that on my roadster when I had them replaced last year.

Were you getting any creaking/clicking steering at low speeds Inkey? Was your replacement at a main dealer too?

They've just come back to me after manually pricing it - £180.

I'm nipping in later to see if they think that is what the problem is.

Is this for ARB bushes or track control arm bushes or all. Either way they are a straight forward DIY job although if you do the TCA bushes you should have the tracking checked afterwards.
I'm sure there is a 'how to' on here somewhere. Might save you a dollar :wink:
