Front bumper

I have become a new Z4 owner recently after purchasing a used 2003 3.0 Z4. The car has some chips in the paint at the bottom of the front bumper. Do you recommend a sanding and then using touchup paint? The car is blue. I am not sure of the actual BMW name for this color. Is the dealer the only place to get the correct paint?
 
Go to a body repair or paint shop and they will spray it up correctly to match. Half price of a dealer.

Common problem of rash on low sports cars and DIY with touchup will look awful if it's any more than a few minor chips.
