Lots of focus on Lotus at this place. Will send them a pic and get a quote though.

And surely that's a good thing. Lotus are plastic and so is your bumper they also have various classic Ferraris and Porches in the back. Jez will see you right. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else in the Surrey area

How much was it when you used them SP? They're so local (I do that drive down the A3 to guildford a LOT, just for fun

I haven't had the M painted- only done a thousand miles or so in it. I had them do some road rash on a previous car plus they serviced my other car when I was visiting a friend in Surrey! This friend had his Lotus 211 looked after by them. They have an impeccable reputation. As you are so close pop in, have a chat with Jez and see how you feel. If you don't like him/them you can go elsewhere. As I said I doubt that repair would cost much more than £200 and these guys will look after you.

Hi, do you know if they do the paintwork in house or sub-contract it out, from their website it looks like they use a sub-contractor?

Yes they use local body shop on the same estate - you just deal with Jez @ BOT and you will get a great service and finish for not a lot of money.

Thats pretty minor! I cracked and split the front bumper on my car, and broke the underplastics... Total repair was £200 ish!

Where did you get it done?

I got it done in Derby by a company called bramans bodyshop... Cash in hand.

But i've used a few places in derby/ midlands all about the same price... You could also get the damaged area repaired and blended to the rest of the bumper... Would prob cost £50... But imo i wouldnt recommend that approach... As it wouldnt look as good as having the whole thing resprayed.

Being a plastic bumper you wont need it blended to surrounding panels either.... However depending how many stone chips you have may seem strange having a nice bumper and chipped wings/ bonnet!
