Front Bumper Question

Apologies if this has already been covered.

Where the front bumper meeting with the front wing (at the back edge of the headlight), how does this secure together? It appears as though one side of mine is droopy. I've read that they "pop" together, but i've tried forcing them together only for it to immediately sag again..

Any cheap fixes, or an I doing it wrong?

It might be one of the lugs has snapped.. and I'm not too sure if that could be replaced.
 
The bumper clips into a black plastic bracket which is itself fastened into the wing. That plastic bracket weakens and needs replacing to both hold the bumper and stop the joint drooping.

You need to unclip the bumper, then working behind the wheel liner, snap off the retaining lugs of the bracket and clip a new one in.

Get them from BMW, but they're not cheap for a bit of plastic.

be careful - whilst bumper removal/replacement is easy, its easy to break bits too!

Also - the little plugs that connect the bumper to the under wheel arch trim are available on ebay for cheaper than BMW, if you need them - mine were one use only (some are reusable design).
