Only had the car a month and have already scratch the front bumper/spoiler on a low curb, was pulling up a drive way and it was just to high. I'm having the bottom of the bumper resprayed monday but want to know if you can get the clear bumper protector for facelift models in the UK?

Ive seen the item on real oem...

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BU33&mospid=49304&btnr=51_5783&hg=51&fg=95&hl=2

but its only listed as a usa item and not europe.

http://www.roadstersolutions.com/ This guy lists them and he ships international. Might help?

I checked that link before, they only seem to list the early model ones, i'm after a facelift one. i'll enquire and see if they can get them.

Go to an aftermarket installer of a product such as Clearbra which simply covers areas needing protection with a 3M clear adhesive product. It's available in different thicknesses. I always have the front end of my cars covered this way but for the underside of the front bumper you could simply ask them to cover that area using the thickest material they have. You won't ever see it and the next time you "discover" a curb, it will protect the underlying part from damage. when it gets a little too "fuzzy" from multiple incidents, have it replaced. Cost here in the US was about $75 last time I did it. But, I would recommend that you consider covering more than just the lower front bumper. My Z4 just celebrated it's 6th birthday and has no stone chips. When I sell the car, the film can be removed.
