front bumper cover ripped from plastic!!

so i need help my 2003 z4 3.0i bumper cover was pulled

so basically i was driving home on a rainy day and i stopped to turn right but what i didnt know was when i made the small right turn there was a curb basically 1. i didnt see it and 2. even if i could see the are by the curb it was kinda filled with water so the curb was under water :/

so anyways when i turned i dropped off of the curb and my right side of the bumper hit the ground it felt as if i got hit by a car almost :x

but ya that really makes me angry because over here in houston texas the roads arent so nice to low cars and my bumper tends to bounce and scrap the ground >.< so ya uh i mostly want to know if theres anyway to fix this i tried zipties but i dunno what happens i check and they r just gone lol i took it to a shop and they said i need a new bumper cover but its like 400 and thats not painted painted its like 800$ so ya i just wanna fix that so any help would be appreciated btw the plastic infront of the tire in well (only on right side) is just a big hole dunno how that happened u can see the hole in the picture and anyways that same plastic that connected to the bumper with nuts those are all missing accept for one nut it looks like those got ripped out the plastic holes are ripped

You need to get the bumper off and figure out what if anything is broken. I reckon the bumper will be ok. It is just the mount that had gone.

There is a bumper removal guide on here. Will take 10mins and is simple.

May not be as bad as it looks.

the hole in the wheel well looks like the fog light access cover has gone... as long as the securing holes are intact this will be salvagable.

If the bumper isnt cracked damage its probably just the clip on the side near the headlight (although these are pricey anyway!) and the under plastics which have been damaged, and will need replacing... you will probably need a new undershield/ plastics around it...

Recently had to replace one side of mine, as long as your outdoor thermometer isnt broken/ lost/ damaged (is positioned on the front NS of the car lower plastic of the car, just behind the bumper) then no electrics will be affected.

But as Greeno says you will need to remove it and examine it closer.

Looks like you may just need a few new plastic parts. The part numbers for the clips are -

Front bumper brackets / clips (that hold the top side edges of the bumper on) :
Near side - B51.11.7.165.179
Off side - B51.11.7.165.180
Arch liner plastic River - B51.71.7.007.296

Near side will (I think) be your driver side, so you need offside. If I have that wrong, someone correct me !

Not sure what the part numbers are for your other needs...

What Bing said. Essentially once they are fitted, they cannot be taken off without breaking them. Bit rubbish really. Really easy to fit. Clip it back on to the wing, then clip the bumper back on.
