Front Bumper Bracket Removal

Although I have managed to remove one of these without damage from a wing, I am struggling with the ones on my car.

Can anybody confirm that this is the best method to remove without damage to the car.

I presume they mean to pull the bracket from point 3.

The way I read it is it cannot be removed without damaging the bracket although I have managed to do it before.

Had another go today but really struggling.

Use a trim removal tool. Something flat and go from the inside of the arch along the clips and push in each clip so you can pull it downwards.

I did that when mine broke.

Been trying that, which is how I did it when off the car. Guess I will have to keep trying.

Done it in the end. I covered a hack fine saw blade in masking tape and slid it between the wing and the clip. Then using a dremel started cutting bits off. By moving the blade around and using it to stop the dremel coming into contact with the wing I managed to get them off.

Never be able to use them again though. :lol:
