Front anti roll bar- bigger

Hi all

Anyone got a beefier front anti roll bar in the shed they want to sell off?

I think the current size on the 3.0i is 26mm and e46 bigger engines and M3 were larger diameter?

Anyone?

Just a word of caution. Did the same on a 2.8i Capri back in the day. It felt worse until I uprated the rear one too

If it's the same anti roll bars as the E46 uses then the stiffest one were found on the convertibles. There was four diameters on the front. Went thru this when I upgraded my Touring to sports suspension. Put a set of convertible ones on and it cornered something lovely.

Edit: Quick squizz at RealOEM and the non M3 E46 tops out at 24mm, while a 3.0 E85 is 25mm.

I can concur the above statement
When i had my E46 330i Touring i fitted a set of eibach springs and a M3 front arb, with a convertible rear bar. It handled great...
