Front all black kidney grills

Looking for some all black kidney grills to replace mine with the chrome surrounds seen some on ebay for around £45 posted
Anyone know of a better place to get any from or have bought some and was happy with the quality?

Any help welcomed :wink:
 
Most people spray the existing ones with PlastiDip or similar. All it costs is around £15 a can and very easy to do. Not to mention satisfying :)

And easily reversible if you want to go back to chrome :wink:
 
I've got a lightly used set of matt black grilles that I could sell you. Black on black was just too erm black for me so I took them off after a week. They're in storage somewhere but I'm sure I could dig them out and send pictures if required. I'm fairly sure I paid about £60 for them but can do them for £40 delivered if you want.

I was told even a good paint job will chip back to chrome
With stones ect, ?
 
Plastidip is flexible so doesn't chip. I've done it on mine and it's holding up frine, where as when I tried painting it started chipping from the start.
 
I got mine from ebay last week for £45 posted (uk seller called badge-it) and have found them to be excellent, clipped in perfectly and the finish is great

Yes them are the ones i was looking at was just a bit worried that the plastic would have a cheap feel to it,
You got any pics with them fitted ??
 
I painted a spare set I had and they chipped every time I drove the car. I couldn't find any plastidip in stock anywhere so I bought all black plastic ones from eBay and they're fine. Just check with the vendor that they are black plastic though as some on eBay are painted.
 
Just the one pic fitted but I'm very happy with them, nice Matte black finish, not painted. Tried to upload a pic from my phone but not working atm, if you pm me your email addy ill sent it over
 
Not too many places sell it over here so i suppose they think they can get away with it. I just thought oh well its cheaper than £45 for black grills
 
Plastidip is the way to go. It doesn't chip, mine hasn't anyway!
