I have just purchased Collinite 915. I need to do a spring decontamination, then will give it some.

How long do you leave it to cure on?

Not too long really, I applied a panel at a time and just left it until it hazed, no more than 5 mins, maybe a bit less

For a change I waxed the Z4 this evening with Kiwami instead of Fusso. I washed the car down with TFR to remove any old coatings, T & G'd the lower half and rear panel, quick clay mitt and D.A'd a few marks here and there. Then applied the Kiwami the same way I do the Fusso... VERY thinly with the supplied applicator sponge, lightly dampened with water. The Kiwami definitely has MUCH more gloss ! I'll see how it fairs over a few maintenance washes before changing permanently but at this stage I'm really pleased with the finish

Has anyone else used Concours R222 ?

I use it as a show wax and for the money i have never seen a wax give a better finish to the paint. Its glorious.

I use it, but not as often as some of my other waxes. It is an excellent wax indeed and is super easy to use (wipe on / wipe off). But as you probably already know, it doesn't have particular good longevity (which is fine if you don't mind topping it up every few weeks). It also doesn't have a nice scented smell like most other waxes do... so you can't lick your fingers between panels

No,the longevity isnt great.. but i use it really as a wax that shows the paint off to its best.

It seems that that level of gloss and longevity just cant be achieved...

I have used Fusso,Symol,swissvax,Tac systems,Scholl concepts,Angel wax,chemical guys,Collonite and im sure loads that i cant remember..

All excel at some things...lol..

Lol.. agree on that, when i used the colly 915 my first thoughts were."thats fkin fantastic" my second was "thats not going to last" :lol:

Colli 476 is renowned for its great looks, ease of use and longevity. Don’t think it would win any prizes for smell though. It’s the one wax that I recommend to people who don’t like to wax (often)

476 has been my go to for the last few years, got through my tin and decided to try something else.. Longevity is outstanding on 476 an tbf shine is good too, if I was only ever going to use one wax 476s would be the one for sure

I'm a recent summer purchaser of fusso wax. I must admit the water repellency of the fusso is simply amazing. My historical car waxes comprised of years and years of using Mer and autoglym products and waxes. For protection of your paintwork, this would definitely take some beating, but and its a big but, I would say for shine there are better products out there. Pound for pound, this would be an amazing base wax for protection. Finding another wax for out and out shine would be a chat for another day once ive used up all the autoglym extra gloss protection.
