From build to delivery?

Dealer just called to the Zed is being built week of 19th March. :) Anyone know how long it takes after that, dealer hopes it will still arrive for end of the Month :?

My car was built week 3 January and arrived first week of March, so around 6 weeks or so. Sorry can't see it being ready for pick up by end march, could be wrong though... :|
 
Thanks for replies, I reckon it will be after second week in April more realistically, still seems ages away :cry:

Ordered mine Jan 28th and got told it would be about 5 weeks.

They sent and email saying it would be delivered week beginning 5th March. Rang them on the 5th and got told that, 'it's all on schedule for delivery as expected'. 'What' says I, 'this week?' 'No, the 15th as expected, it's all on track, can't wait to see your car...' gush, gush. 'But' I said 'you said this week'. 'No, it's on schedule for the 15th, could be a day or two earlier'. :headbang:

So they told us one thing and then acted as if they hadn't and then stuck an extra 10 days onto the delivery time. I have to wait another 48hrs after they've got it as they are doing the paint protecting thing on it for me. So all in all I've had an extra two weeks stuck on to what I was originally told.

Annoying thing is they weren't going to let me know.

Total delivery time IF it comes when they say is going to be around 7 weeks for me. Feels like it's been 7 months :(
 
i havent been given my delivery date yet but the sales person told me i would have it in april...... by that i am presuming on the last day of april and anything sooner will be a bonus :D
 
I placed the order around a month ago, so if being built week after next, then another 2 to 3 weeks after that would sound about right I would guess.

How long from being built (i.e. released to carrier/put on ship) to arrive in uk?

My stealer told me LAST wednesday the car had been built and on the boat, but I phoned today and its still not in the UK. Has the boat sunk?
 
My mate and I both placed our orders at the same 3rd Feb, both given a build slot of week 11 with expected delivery to the dealer week 13 and pick up begining of week 15 so first week in April...

I got a call a week last Friday just to confirm everything was going to plan, my mate got a call to say his car had arrived so could he pick his reg and sign the paper work...so his car arrived at the dealer week 11. So for him it was order week 6 and ready for collection week 12, and for me the wait goes on... :?
