Hello just recently i picked up a 2015 28si e89 from the US and just last week it got delivered to my country. The car bad been involved in a accident in the rear left side of the back and my plan is to restore it at home. I firstly started to tackle down with straightening some part of the back so i could open the trunk since it was stuck, job successful, then i started working at the engine since some of the coolant pipes had holes in them so i had to replace them in order to start the engine. This was also successful, the engine started and it runs fine for sitting 2 months in a container travelling across the ocean. The next step for me was looking at the electronic state of the car which was not good. The battery had been flat for 2 months and i had to jump start it many times so i could put it in my yard when it was delivered. Then i saw the idrive message adaptive light malfunction and that the angel eye, low and high beam on the right headlight werent working while the hazard and the small blue line ontop of the angel eye was working which ment that the headlight wasn’t getting some sort of power, also the windows weren’t working, they were stuck in closed position. I searched in google and asked chatgpt and sadly found out the famous FRM module issues when the car battery got flat. So I installed ISTA hoping just a simple reset would fix all those issues but i was sadly wrong, the same errors kept coming over and over, at least the check engine light didn’t came back.

More digging i found about tool32 and its capabilities to reset short circuit errors which i exactly have. I watched a short YouTube tutorial on how to do it. It looked pretty simple but as every bmw problems it just threw me an error when trying to reset the values that were above 50
Here are my lights values greater than 50 and when i try to reset them it come out with this error:
At this point i dont know what else i could try except maybe changing the tool32 version or just leaving it for now. Though i could ask here if somebody has had the same problem as me or know anything about those errors, also i selected frm87 in tool32, which i think its the correct one for a 2015 model year.Also to mention every other lights except the problematic one work perfectly. Any help would be appreciated!
