A colleague at work is looking for an E89 low miles sub 10k. He likes the looks of this one.

I don't know it, but can't you convince him an E85/86 is a much better idea?

As much as I love the colour scheme of that one, I'd want heated M-Sport seats and a 3 litre engine for his budget.

He is moving from a tired 318 vert. It is a similar colour inside and out. So I guess likes that colour scheme and considers 204bhp ample for now. :)

Another guy at work had an E85 that I gathered was a duffer. He now has am new Mx5. So I've not pushed the E85 idea. Just the Z4.

Right, I suppose that makes some sense - you don't want to spend every working day being berated by a colleague.

Having owned both an e85 and an e89 ,both cars are not without their faults. As a complete package the e89 is the way to go.

As a daily an E89 probably is, but as an E86 aficionado I'd say that's definitely the way to go for a 2nd car!

As I've got mine up for sale, you can't convince him mileage doesn't really matter could you? :D

Either way, if he'd like to have a look at/drive of an E89 to get an idea of what they're like, he's more than welcome to see mine since I'm local

Didn't even know there were that many 23's around locally
Offers still there if he would like to try the big engine though!

Flaunt him mine John. Less than 10k miles per year is reasonable low mileage and in his budget range too.
