Friday 13th

Trying to avoid work as much as possible, it being a Friday and all :D
 
Mainly Friday the 13th... Sadly Fridays are quite often the busiest day of my week, mostly sh1te admin and dealing with people who remember they need something real urgent before going off for the weekend :x
 
I know the feeling, I work from home in the UK, my office (and boss) is in Belgium (so always 1 hour ahead), my team is based in Brazil (so between 2 and 4 hours behind dependent on the time of year), so my day extends in both directions :(
 
I am not normally superstitious about this day, but exactly 5 years ago on Friday the 13th 2007 I did this to my Individual E36 328 Sport :(

Narrow country lane, DHL van and knackered brakes following a trip to the Nurburgring a few days before equaled broken car :(

I will try to avoid driving today if possible :)
 
My older sister was born in 1960, my parents tried for 5 years for a second, before my brother came along just at the right time to keep my parents together. My father being the devious b$€stard got my mother very drunk on their wedding anniversary and had his wicked way with her, it was the first time they had made love since before my brother was born some 15 months previous. They separated not long after I was born.

I was the result of that one trist, born on the 13th of June, I feel very lucky to be here, so for me the number 13 is good and Friday the 13th is just better :D
