Fresh Z4 owners saying hi

Hey everyone, I'm Tom! Recently my wife and I bought an E85 Z4. It's a car I've loved since it came out (I was a teenager back then) and it's been on the bucket list since. We took our time finding one that's in good shape and the right colours and decided on getting this '06 Z4 2.5i in black with red interior. We're planning our first European road trips for spring and summer, so any recommendations are welcome!

Morning Tom, you've cracked it by posting a pic and the black and red is a great combo. I've had mine for a couple of weeks and love it...let me know how you get on with keeping the black bodywork looking great. Enjoy :thumbsup:
 
Hi and welcome - roadster; well done :thumbsup: ...... and yea really bold interior the red I'd have gone for that if I hadn't had my heart set on a blue car - blue / red not the best colour combo

Thanks all, the forum is a great resource as I'm still getting to know the car better. I'll keep you posted on any developments with the car. We're planning on getting a set of slightly bigger wheels (I like the 17" Styling 200 wheels) for the summer tires and keeping the original wheels for winter tires. Some touchups here and there, a few bits and bobs maybe, but planning on keeping it original.

Nice set of 18's would suit it very well.
 
Hi Tom a big welcome from the States. Enjoy the top down Z4. Weather by me in NY is finally starting to break. Can’t wait for a 400 mile drive to a bed and breakfast.
