French Trip

Just finished a 2000+ mile trip around France, avoiding tolls. Down to Bergerac and back, stopping in Orleans on the way there and Troyes on the way back. Love the French roads, so smooth and quiet.
Stayed a night in Ghent, Belgium before catching the ferry at Calais. Would highly recommend stopping there before coming back to UK to anyone driving around France. Hour and a bit from Calais and cracking beer! Beautiful city too.

Your making me jealous jlp and i only been back 4 weeks from my France trip, we visited Orleans in March, then stayed 2 nights in Troyes, a stunning city with 10 churches and boy do they know how to build a church.

Already planning next years trip including the French Riviera from Montpelliar/Marseille to Monaco.
