My old favorite wants to charge me so much a decode... https://www.mdecoder.com/
Says I've reached my daily limit.... okay but this is my first try in weeks?
Anybody have a good free one they can share

I discovered this a few days back and posted it on another thread. Mdecoder is no longer free but I just found this one, it seems to work:

https://decoder.bvzine.com

EDIT: I spoke too soon, I can decode my car on that site but trying my previous BMWs none of them are coming up, the site comes back with errors.

Thanks for confirming... our favorite decode is no longer free. My message says that a pay per view version will follow in a few days. Currently shopping and finding a decent decoder seems impossible

It's not free anymore! you have to buy in lots of 5 searches 5 GBP or euros if I remember correctly. The one mentioned above from bimmertool seems to work.

When I tried it yesterday it worked with my own car who's VIN I have decoded before but when I put a new VIN it didn't work.

Works for me to :idunno:

What we are finding is that there are more than one way into this decoder site. One way is still working for free. The other is pay per view.

So am i missing something here..the ones that have working links dont actually show you all the options the car came with? Now im actively looking for a car id like to see how they're specced as some adverts are pretty crap with their descriptions
