I’m replacing the Bridgestone runflats on my 35is on Saturday 4th Feb. 19 inch wheels, standard staggered fit. 255x30 rears, 225x35 fronts

They have 500 miles on them - unmarked as new.

If you want them for free, and can be in Reading UK first thing in the morning Saturday, say so here & I will ping over the details.

Will be at a local tyre place, so they can fit for you. I expect there will be a charge, but not much - maybe £20 per wheel.

I’m booked in the Bosch tire place RG6 1AZ at 9am.

Very generous offer
Alternatively, you could take them back home, pop them in the shed or garage. You would have the option to give a perspective member time to arrange pick up or just sell them on. Just my 2p's worth, they're your tyres, your prerogative

Shame, personally I'd ask a mate or family member to tag along in his/her hatchback so that I could get them back. Its a mighty generous offer from yourself, I'm sure someone would help you out. If I was local I'd have just helped you out no probs. Hell, I'd even be tempted to buy some 19 inch csl reps just to get the bridgestones on there :D

New tyres are now on - huge difference. I can now pass over minor road imperfections without my fillings being shaken out!

The bridgestone runflats are wrapped up & being held for this weekend at the tyre place - if anyone needs a new set for free, let me know.

I have no storage options to keep them, so on Monday I will need to let them know to recycle.

I did briefly consider putting them in the kitchen, but my wife politely suggested I should not :)

Very benign of you to offer the tyres to other folks…

What tyres did you go with ?

Stock sizes?

Not surprising at all…7th best tyre vs the 72nd best tyre..no contest…enjoy  :driving:

Most of the tyres that may come higher in the list are not actually available in the sizes needed for the 35is to be fair.

Really happy with the Michelins.

It’s an increasing problem with time that some of the newer tyres come in sizes that don’t match the stock E89 OE tyre sizes..

Standard size Michelin pilot sport 4S

Revelation - it’s not a subtle difference.

That's good to know.
PS4S is an excellent tyre choice always well rated in all reviews, if you read a lot of reviews as opposed to one you wil find they are just about top for wet grip (most important) and most other aspects.
