I think i should have a stubby because, This is my first z4 (in fact, the only other car i haveever had was a fiat punto 1.2!) and I am now paying over half my salary every month just to have one. Any money left goes on petrol. A friend of mine has a 3.0i coupe and thinks he made the right decision (Completely wrong, soft top much better).
So please think of me....... and you have to feel sorry for me because i had to get rid of the wife so i can have the car. Still works out cheaper in then long run.

Just to add for extra sympathy... Plugged it into a diagnostic computer last night and no faults came up meaning its certainly the motor
Giving a couple of garages a ring today for quotes.
For extra sympathy, Ive just had to buy 2 new rear tyres....AND....my car is due an Inspection II in the next 2 weeks

So after 4 days of pathetic crying from some and big time sucking up from others, I've decided on who wins my 3" stubby aerial. It really boiled down between two members; Thecroft1 and Andrew_Morris.

I'm glad you appreciated the post but I think you missed the point.........
I really do have a free stubby to give away as well. It's no good to me cos the FM reception is crap around here so I need a bigger one.
So if anyone can meet my original criteria, or even just number 4 ( :evil: ) then they can have mine. I'd rather give it away than sell it for a couple of quid.
First pm with an address gets it - i will even pay the postage!
