Play a second dealer against this one. The two I used were desperate, saved me 2k in the end.

feels like playing away lol, but you're right, it could work in my favour

Most dealers are using the £2250 sat nav credit from BMW towards deposit contribution. Free sat nav + 8K depo credit is £10,250 off. . . .

£10,250 would be selling you the car for less than they paid for it. Not going to happen.

8k off on a White no-option M-Sport leaves a dealer with somewhere around 2% profit. Salesperson only gets a tiny portion of that profit as commission. It simply isn't worth their time to do much better.

If you pile on options, service packages or high profit items like tyre insurance, then they have room to deal.

well the options i have gone for on top of the douglas park offer are

auto box
wind deflector
windscreen strip
heated steering wheel
cruise control

not a great deal but enough to go above the 2k sat nav option

Hmmm, whacking 8-10K off the price of a car really does tell you something... :?

yeah its the first time i've seen such a massive discount from dealers on a very good car to begin with

I don't think 10k is possible. . .

The 8-9K that people are getting is amazing. That's more than 25% off MSRP. The Z4 is an easy win at those prices.

yeah i think 10k is pushing it and i guess the offer i've got is pretty decent already so not much room to negotiate further..... might ask for a full tank and servicing though :D

Yes, I got a free tank with mine as well:

:P

lol i already have a bmw m sport fleece top.... a polo shirt wouldnt hurt i guess :D

I got a full tank and a keyring! Keith knows I'm eternally jealous of his free shirt!...although, to be honest, for the size of shirt I would need, to give me one for free would've cost them loads!

As said, the "fee sat nav" is just the headline for the £2225 BMW equipment contribution that can actually be used for other equipment, or just as a deposit. It is built into the dealer contribution.

My car has loads of extras, including nav, but I'm paying another £3k on top.

And the offers aren't just on the Z4, they're on several other models/ranges as well, until the end of March.
