Free Car Valuations

I plan on keeping my car for the next 3 years, if not more, so depreciation is pretty much irrelevant at the moment.

Given then I got a bargain when I bought it, two year's down the line it has only lost 1.5k if I traded it in, so not too bad really.

Obviously this matters more if it's time to sell. I imagine the values will start to firm up soon for the earlier cars, they're not too far from z3 prices now!

Andrew.

My £4.5k trade in makes me realise what an amazing car for the value that I have. What else could you get without adding £10k to it?

My jags lost x3 the value if the Zed in 2 years, which is sobering.
Makes me happy I buy 2 year old and keep a long time to flatten the curve.

Funny, on your site, my car is worth £ 3'750 (so let's say ~ £ 5'500 market price) and on a similar website in switzerland that calculates the median market price, I get £10'000 :D

OK, prices are a bit higher in Switzerland but still!

I don't trust those websites :poke:

Much easier with Boxster, just turn the chairs around. Can't tell the front from the back anyway :D

Doesn't do Alpina's ... Gonna have to keep it then :D

Alpina is in the list ...

Checked... Saw they did Alpina convertibles, but no roadsters?..... Ah, just rechecked, it's not where I thought it was. And for that valuation, I'll still keep it

You see, Alpina owners are obviously a little special, as in needs ... :D

They can shove it where the sun don't shine!

If you look at autotrader generally around an extra 1,500 grand but ebay or piston heads seem slightly more money

Just pray you never have a crash as that is what the insurance will pay out then ...

Insurance 'have' to pay out market value, not trade value.

i.e. they have to put you back into the position you were in immediately prior to the incident.

They may try to pay out £3k, but if you genuinely require £4.5k to replace your car like-for-like then it's an 'easy' fight.

£4k trade in. But that price doesn't reflect some of the tasty mods such as de gingering.

Mines sold anyway so I don't care

It's ok I realised now why so low..

I didn't tick box -stubby
But honestly
Having a crash is slightly different in your options, but willing to give it away for peanuts I.e we buy any car etc
Is beyond me
