Just now in the US the CDC just announced if you have your covid shots and have waited the two weeks after. You no longer have to wear a mask outside or inside!!!

Lucky - we still have tower one but that is a small inconvenience compared to catching Covid

Hopefully we are getting close to more freedom, just hope this Indian variant doesn't get out of hand :(

Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and West Virginia have all been mask-less for a while.

I think you will be all right.

Bit of a worry with the Indian variant showing up here and 4 people have died from it. I think masks should still be worn.

Was not a very clever move from the government to allow a load of Indians to get on flights in the week before they closed it off. Why give them a week's notice and not shut it down when it was known not to mention the gaping loop hole of Indians flying via Turkey to avoid the hotel process.

When the UK started the Kent variant, we were cut off the world within minutes, not with a weeks notice. :x

Couldn't agree more

I never understand the notice period with any of the restrictions.....ie stopping incoming flights from xyz country as it’s deemed risky, but it won’t take effect till 4am on Thursday next week etc etc etc.

Regardless of people’s personal opinion of the whole thing, the logic of those delays doesn’t make sense to me.

Unless a flight has been given clearance from ATC then it should stay on the ground in that country. People have had plenty advice being told not to travel.

Anybody caught trying to avoid the system should be fined and sent back.

Along with a further period of exclusion like Australia/NZ do if found to be deliberately breaching the rules
