Foxwell nt530 any good?

I have a Foxwell NT530 which currently has software for another manufacturer installed. Is it worth paying for the BMW software for it,to use on the E85 cars or am I better off buying a different code reader?

I've just bought the 630 plus which does abs/srs and sas, but unless I'm going daft, it doesn't pick up faults on the soft top roof (I don't think it can scan that roof module).

I borrowed Creator 510 off a neighbour which is aimed specifically at BMW/Mini and that has everything I neededd in terms of fault code diagnostics. Depends if you have a few different badged cars at home.

I don't have any other bmw's so I'd be buying the software purely for the z4. This is why Im wondering if I should by a different scanner with the money or if the 530 with dedicated software will work well?

I have a nt530..with bmw software installed. its worked for me but to be fair ive not had much use for it ( touchwood). I havent had any errors with the roof but pretty sure it would read them.. its really hard to choose the right tool as there are a few options. I think it's about £50 for the software, isn't it? I have a land-rover too so ive extra use for it as they regularly throw lots of warnings!

the software is £80 so I wondered if anything else out there is comparable or more dedicated before I commit to it.

BimmerGeeks ProTool if you have an android phone. Nice thing about the NT530 is you can add other cars to it.
