Foxwell NT520 diagnostics for potential buy

Hi folks

I own a Foxwell NT520 scan tool which I have my VW/Audi software to cover my Audi A4 and a Skoda Yeti. I'm going to look at an E89 Sdrive 23i next week so I was going to buy the software for BMW and check out the car.
Have any owners used the Foxwell tool on their E89's and has it spotted the obvious problems?

I used it to find my roof problem, it pointed out that one salmon relay wasn't operating.
But it also said several other sensors were faulty when they were not.
That may have been just a by product of the salmon relay not completing cycles.
 
I have one and it did not successfully register a change of battery ...had to use Carly.....other stuff was much better..
 
Thanks guys.... I have not made best use of the Foxwell. Of course one potential fault spotted or problem solved and it has paid for itself...
 
My Foxwell has been great, and it did manage to register a new battery (same type and capacity as old one). Has lots of features and capabilities. For $60 you can't really go wrong. I researched the market and for my use I chose the Foxwell. I looked at the Carly thing but I refuse to get into a subscription arrangement if I can at all avoid it.
