Four-wheeled motorbike??

Saw a really weird vehicle zipping round the M25 on the way to Dover on Sunday. Imagine a jet ski welded on top of an Aerial Atom chassis and you get the picture.

At first I thought "why?"...but as it zoomed past it really grew on me!

That's weird and cool in equal measure, love to have a go.....do you need a bike license?
 
That looks very ............ well scary quite frankly, all the disadvantages of a bike - like coming off and getting yourself smashed up very easily, without the agility and simple thrill. I sort like it though just for being so bonkers.

Can't imagine so if its technically (not to say literally!) a quad. You don't need a bike licence for a trike do you?

I originally wanted one of those but realised there was no way I was going to get 10k together for a weekend toy. So I did my CBT and have a little YBR125. Really enjoy riding it but it's just a bit of recreational riding, aiming to stay safe rather than commute down busy roads with angry people etc :)

Everyone tells me I need to pass my test and get the "big bike". To be honest I can't be bothered lol!

Any other bikers on here?
 
I wonder if thats explains why there are thousands of these POS things on the Paris roads? I hate them!! :headbang:

Is that all? Count me in. If it's a choice of that or a lightly used M5 / M3 / 997 C2S, well - it's got to be the quad, surely? Absolutely bonkers... :o

Fair enough. The other day me & the wife were furniture shopping in Norfolk. Well beside the furniture store they had these quads on display. They wanted around 3-7k quid for them (depending on engine size). I can't remember the name of that company but they are selling over here for fairly cheap.
