Four Lions - What a Movie

OK, so you wasted two hours of your life watching the abysmal "Non-Stop". Well I suggest that you watch Four Lions to make up for things.

Hard-hitting but brilliantly observed. Somewhat awkward at times, and then "laugh out loud" funny. Superbly balanced between comedy and harsh reality.

Quite honestly this is a Chris Morris masterpiece, and the closest thing to "The Life of Brian" I've ever seen.

Seen it already? Well let's talk about Jewish spark plugs...

Really interesting that people have different reaction and expectations of films.

I must say I have seen Four Lions and was really keen to watch it after reading reviews and seeing some clips.

Not what I expected at all and I couldn't get a grip on what type of film it was - I remain lost over it.

Glad it hit home for you though. . . . be interesting to hear how others received it.

It's superficially amusing, brilliantly observed (as said), and tragic in equal measures. Worryingly, much of it is entirely credible...

I really like that film and it takes a very risky and sensitive subject, especially after the July 7th bombings and gives it a non fear, comedy twist. We've become a very paranoid nation about terrorism and specifically suicide bombers and rightly so but this film puts a different outlook on it.

I understand that the family effected by July 7th wanted the film banned and I see there point but we can't go on living in fear all the time......otherwise you won't do anything and incorrectly stereotype people into the bargain.
