Amarone is very rare on any Z4 even if it does seem to have been swapped, but it has the usual Zachary Luke price mark-up!
Having said that I've only read positive comments from people who have bought from them and they do seem to find good cars.

Personally I think if that’s the spec and colour combo you want and can afford it then 100% go for it, it’s a rare combo for sure wether stock or not, no point lying in your coffin twiddling your thumbs thinking you should have bought that M but instead not doing so because it’s a grand or two higher than the norm, folk piddle 2, 3, 4k upwards on a 2 week holiday a year so does it matter…?
Looks good to me. Wouldn't be concerned with the MoT history, looks decent enough. Loads of legit reasons for the gap and that was years ago anyway. Probably kept in storage and trailered to a garage when it got Mot'd again. These are 20 year old cars (nearly), if your looking for one with perfect MoT history / service history you'll never get one or you'll be waiting a very, very long time.
If there's a bit of haggle space on the price, seems like a good buy.

I am sure you will have seen posts on the Forum from Bigwin (Stuart) who lives near Lincoln. He has done lots of work on my Zs over the years and he now owns a similar car to your new acquisition. It might be worth contacting him to have a look over it for you. He is a really helpful guy.
