Mine relates to the 3rdPillar of the stand where my Grandad and I used to stand to watch football in the 1970's. If i went wandering I could always find him stood below the 3rd pillar.....

My nickname is just a 'natural' abbreviation of my first name (Deven)!

I know Rob Grant he is a really cool guy! My Uncle lived with him at uni met him at his wedding

I thought Kryton was played by Robert Lewellyn, the bloke who also does Scrapheap Challenge? Unless that's his stage name or something...?

His name is Llewelyn.
And his name is spelt Kryten (not Kryton) in the series. :P :D

Wow ... someone swallowed Wikipedia :D

I followed the first series but was then banned to watch it afterwards by Mrs PVR :D

Never did find out what that H stood for though ...

Ah ...

Perhaps once I have finished the 24 box set in about 5 years time, I will have a revisit of that series :D

Mine stems from my first dabbles on the Internet when I had to choose a nickname for MSN chatrooms. How ancient does that sound now? I chose 'the Guvnor' for some reason that i can't really remember these days. For those who follow football it certainly wasn't to do with any love of Paul Ince - I couldn't stand the bloke!

At some point I had problems with my account and needed to open up a new one. By the time I'd done it someone had pinched my username, so I became 'original Guvnor' so people knew who I was when I was talking to them.

Simple. My license plate is Cool Z4, so that is what I went with.
Do these photos look familiar?

Some great ones out there, quite good fun deciphering the more cryptic versions.

GregZ4. Coz I'm called Greg and drive a Z4.

When I was at uni and playing rugby (average No.8 ) I was called Big G which stuck for a while.
If you know rugby think Dean Richards. Not that quick but pretty effective when he arrived!

I was also called Big G when cycling as I made a big hole in the wind and was quick (unlike when I ran).
I often had the whole club strung out behind me on bad days.........

My surname is Hyde so have always been called Jeckyll.
I don't dislike it and as a pharmacist it definitely works

Oh yeah and Heidi when I'm a big girl's blouse (apparently).

So far, I sort of like this one the most, it has a great meaning :-)

Maybe we should set up a contest for the best nick out there? I already know I won't win
