Forum nicknames

Being from Northern Ireland, my English work colleagues concluded I must be part of some paramilitary organisation, so somone starting calling me Semtex, which soon got shortened to Tex. So despite my avatar, im not a cowboy. :D

Bigdog comes from the fact I once owned a trucking company leased to FedEx. My first truck was a Mack. Which had a bulldog on the bonnet. Hence- BIGtruck, bullDOG.

Years I ago, I was trying to register on another car forum. The admin, who accepted the applications, visited the forum once in a fortnight. It led to frustration, so I kept on sending multiple requests under increasingly bizarre nicknames. The one that eventually got registered stayed with me over the years. The source was Le Corsaire Satan, an artistic journal of Baudelaire's day.

That's a good middle name, well done your mum  mines Geoffrey which I never use (except on my car number plate)

Mine is an old school nickname that evolved through a few others.

My first name is Peter.... lets see who can make the connection :P

mine is after the last bike i had, a 1200 bandit, unimaginative i know. my real nickname is Slim which a games teacher gave me in 1975 when i started senior school, mainly because i was a bit porky and he thought it rather amusing to give kids nicknames which were the opposite to their physique, couldn't do that now. :) even now people still use it.

1) Transformer and Movie name followed by my fav numbers
2) I've had several forum names over the years including Wildrider, Swindle, MrFlibblez, but bluestreak56 has also been my preferred alias.

mine is just a what loads of people call me: my surname is "Vidgeon" which gets shortened to Vidge and its kinda stuck!

mine is pretty rubbish really nickname was animal when playing cricket and golf because of my size and height :headbang: :dizzy:
and the blues cause i'm the sad git that has supported Chelsea for over 45years :)

I always have a boner, I don't get embarrassed about it anymore so embrace it, hence the username.

Stuart what's the background to your forum name? :poke:

Total lack of originality. I used to go by the nickname "Grim Squeaker" on forums, it's a nickname of a character from Terry Pratchett books, but someone else started using it and I got bored with it

so why Kryton, presumably from Red Dwarf?

Yes, my daughters and I used to watch it all the time, reminds me of the good times when my girls were young.
