well a little red slip lands on my doorway, off i go to the post office and to my really really great surprise is an xmas gift from mr woots...... now as i'm not the friendliest looking of people, nor the most approachable looking either i can honestly say ive made 1 or 2 people i really would class as a friend, been on this forum for many a year, had my son within my years of z4 forum membership, became a lone parent and struggled with day to day life, lost a tooth or 2 during some boxing matches id prefur to forget, gained and lost a few girlfriends along the way, business has seen the highest highs and lowest lows in my forum time.... one things been pretty consistant really and thats this site, the love for my hobby and certain names on this site, whether i get on with you or not, ive become really fond of seeing the same names on my screen, almost like a comfort... woots, pvr, bing, carol, stu truman,bmwz4mc,exdos, to name a few...... more importantly my love of the motor vehicle hasn't dropped one single bit infact its gained momentum, if anything its kept me going through times i really care to not relive..... either way, im waffling but.... part of the fun and love of motoring is the community behind it really.... so merry xmas all..... and Woots, Really really appreciate the gift, was glad to be of support during your time of need :-)

and as usual every xmas.... another pic of my son, now 2.5 years old, im now 2 years into lone parenthood... we are doing ok

That's a gorgeous looking lad you have, he's a real credit to you

Hope you both have a Merry Christmas :)

Wow! He's grown (like they do!)
He is a little stunner, bet you are so proud of him.

You nearly bought a wee tear to my eye.
I know what you mean about certain people on the forum and totally agree.

Merry christmas. Group hug.

Merry Christmas Beedub - great looking lad, does he take after his mum

You're not the only one who's been down the single dad route. I was lucky enough to find a lovely lady who didn't think a bloke with two young kids was carrying too much baggage - single parenthood isn't the end of the line it's just the start of a new journey

Merry Xmas Beedub, have a great festive season !
That is one fine looking Porsche key fob, great design.

i have to say the new porsche interiors are IMO some of the best, for ME perfect.....

Merry Christmas Beedub. I'm still new around these parts but it's lovely to be part of this forum.

Your little boy is adorable! He's going to be a real heartbreaker with those eyelashes.

First festive reflection I've seen this year, and hats off to you. Having a 9 month old with both parents is hard enough and the lack of sleep....
You have my upmost respect, and from what I've read of your posts of the past couple of years, your son is already well grounded and I'm sure will continue to be your biggest achievement and your biggest fan.

I wish you both happiness and health, have a great Christmas and I hope 2014 is yet another chapter in your life story.

PS. What was your gift from Woots? Don't tell us.... a can of Red Bull? :poke:
