Forum dilemma

So... A member offered an item on here in exchange for a donation to the forum. I agreed and have made the specified donation, and then the person in question has ignored all communication for the last two weeks; what would you do if you were me?
 
I'd PM him again tomorrow just in case he has been on holiday and forgot to mention it to you and if you still get no joy do as Grumpyowl has suggested

Well I had wondered about holidays etc except that the member in question has been active posting on the forum during the last week anyway: while not replying to my texts or a message on the forum.
 
Name and Shame! If he's genuine, he'll then come out with a reason.

If he's a shyster, hopefully he'll bugger off for good.

Well I'm trying to do everything possible before resorting to unpleasantness; but having just PM'd them & texts etc over the last fortnight, maybe if I get no response in the next 24hrs I'll consider that.

This wouldn't be the smart top by any chance? I've seen your messages on the thread and yes seem to be being ignored. Maybe too engrossed in the potential porker he is looking to now buy.

I'm sure the thread was created when he was supposedly selling but didn't. From what I've seen the person in question is a good guy so I'm sure there is a reason for it. Not sure what.
 
Yeah - I realise there's lots of reasons why someone might not get around to replying straight away: so was trying to avoid naming them unless a very last resort. Having said that we did speak two weeks ago now and gave them an address I thought they were going to post to, and I've heard nothing since.
 
Unfortunately with a forum the regulars will have seen the topic and know who you are referring too, hopefully they will see this and get back to you as soon as possible.

I hope it all gets sorted soon for you John
 
My apologies John, I hadn't realised you had made a donation to the forum, and in this regard I am not ashamed to admit this error was on my part, so of course the forum contribution will stand and I will refund you the payment.

Wow! A) I wouldn't have thought for a moment it was you and B) it's like 4 months down the line but at least you've apologised for a genuine mistake :thumbsup:
