Unless we take an easy option, including using someone who's done it before, it's just not going to happen.

I actually thought about this last night and figured out it's a bit late now (work's been bonkers so slipped my mind).
I think whatever happens this year we need to make a plan for next year. My proposal would be to have the competition winners used as the calendar, from October to October. That way we can go to print at the beginning of November. In order to make things easier we would need to gather full-resolution images of comp winners at the time of winning, and also add to the rules that the winners will be in the calendar.
I know some people likes the whole voting on the calendar thing but I think it complicates things and this way all we need is a template, a bit of design work and someone to organise printing.
I think having the calendar finalised by the end of Oct gives suitable time to get printing done and get distribution sorted.
What do you guys think? (I realise this doesn't answer the question about this year, but at least it might make things easier for next year)

so November and December become 2013 become the winning entries for the 2015 Calendar - sounds a decent plan
Does this mean - once you have won a month -That's you in the 12 for the year and then not allowed to enter for the rest of the year - i see the logic and I am for it - but it wont please everyone i can imagine.

The printing isn't the issue, we need someone to do the design, layout, quality control, getting samples etc etc, that's the time consuming part. Ste did a cracking job last year but unless we have something like that in place I wouldn't be comfortable taking orders.
If quality isn't spot on there could (and would) be backlash on the forum. Happy for anyone to volunteer to run this but I would want us to have samples first, and complete calendars delivered before any money changes hands.
Still up for it, Taz (considering there's just 4 weeks til Christmas)?
