After talking about screen names it got me thinking, why did you pick your avatar?

I'll start the ball rolling. Mine is of me posing in a chromed up smart car...

A fortwo was my first car and I still feel an attachment to them. Plus I think the pic is cool :D
 
This will be an interesting thread.. I've always wondered why alot of people on here chose their avatar's..

Personally the reason for me having mine is the fact its me.. driving a zed. Can't get much more befitting than that.. And the fact that it annoys quite a few people on here is even more reason for me to keep it :D

Can I jump in early and warn that this thread might temp a certain regular poster to re-publish his hairy ar$e tattoo shot. Might be worth a :topicclosed: just to save everyones eyes!

Mine's just lazyness, use the same on Twitter etc. and nice and simple like the user!

who could you be referring to?
 
Mine's actually the logo* from the 2007 Singlespeed Mountainbike World Cup (SSWC07), held that year in Aviemore. I like it because I'm a singlespeeder (a mountainbiker who rides a bike with only one gear) who attends these events, and i'm quite obviously Scottish (although not ginger). Plus I think it's cool: sort of represents a Scottish singlespeeder taking over the world :). I like the chainring instead of a sporran!

I picked mine totally at random after watching an episode of celebrity juice which had me laughing so hard it hurt :lol:

Before this avatar I had a road sign avatar with a twist....

I can't watch Lord of the Rings - also starring Hugo Weaving - without thinking back to The Matrix: "Mr Anderson..." - such a well played role IMO
 
I guess the subject of our discussion is also having lunch as I have not seen him yet :)
 
I drive a Z, love it's lines and like this shot in full-def, but got fed up trying to size the damn pic in such a way that it's a nice sharp image. I duly gave up, hence the Fuzzy Z Wing Shot :roll:
 
hmm, I can vouch for that. He clashed terribly with his car, no wonder he had to sell it :rofl:
