Ford is using high-tech to lower parent’s blood pressure. Coming in 2010 as a standard equipment, Ford’s new MyKey will do all kinds of stuff to make teens safer drivers like limit top speed, limit stereo volume, constant nag reminders and muted stereo until seat belts are fastened and so on.

MyKey is appealing to parents of teen drivers, including 75 percent who like the speed-limiting feature, 72 percent who like the more insistent safety-belt reminder, and 63 percent who like the audio limit feature, according to a recent Harris Interactive Survey conducted for Ford.

I've got it! When travelling at more than 30 miles an hour if one or both hands leave the wheel it shocks them in the posterior.

...and the seatbelt auto tensions to hold them securely in place for the shock....

Not just for teens! Very useful for bluehairs that can't see over the wheel. Imagine how empty the roads will be in Florida!

BTW, i went to the UNC vs UCONN football game, WHAT A BLAST! Great atmosphere for college football.
