I bought the car in October 2005 with just short of 50,000 miles on the clock. The bulk of the miles I clocked up have mainly been motorway miles (regularly driving from Cambridge to Stirling). The remainder have been commuting from Huntingdon to Cambridge which is roughly even split of town driving, A-roads and B-roads.

The bodywork is in good condition, and when washed and polished looks quite stunning. There are stone-chips you can only expect to see on a car of this age, and there is a spot on each rear wheelarch where the paintwork has bubbled slightly - again typical of Ford's this age. Those patches are about 1-2cm long. On the bootlid there is a very small dent (less than an inch) - the result of a careless motorist in a car park (see the rear photo of the car).

While I have had it, it has had the rear shock absorbers replaced, then the usual brake disks & pads, tyres and bulbs. The only other items were the air conditioning condensor (hit by a stone, so required replacing) and the battery died.

The V6 sounds tremendous when accelerating, anybody who drives it and hears it will love it. The ride is firm with good handling so its a lot of fun to drive up twisty A-roads, and equally comfortable for cruising along long distances on motorways.

Included in the sale are a pair of original Ford roof bars.

£2000, please contact Carl on 07807146088 or via PM if you are or know anyone who is interested.
